I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
