In a unexpected crossover event that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Revealed

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of forbidden rituals and fearsome changes reverberate through the obscurity." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine cult.

The mission centers on "bizarre trials and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Content

Players who finish the adventure will obtain an unique katana in addition to several artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
